SASSA and the Social Development Department have made it possible for applicants who have been declined to appeal their SASSA SRD grant online by themselves.
- Click on the link https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals
- Enter your current active phone number that is in use for accessing your account and the ID number.
- You will receive an OTP code immediately, enter it at the small space provided.
- Submit and the appeal page is then open.
- Since appeals are done on month to month basis, choose the month you wish to appeal.
- The reason for the decline is already filled, choose the appeal reason that matches your decline reason.
- Submit and wait for 60 to 90 days before.
- Appeals outcome can be checked using the same procedure outlined above.
