How Do I Put Banking Details On My SASSA R350 2023

Follow these step-by-step guide here to but banking details on your SASSA R350.

  1. Go to the website url : https://srd.sassa.gov.za
  2. Quick Scroll down to the part of the page asking you ” How do I change my Banking Details
  3. Just below that, you will see text field asking for your ID number.
  4. Enter the ID number and click on the submit button
  5. The phone number used to apply will receive a SMS containing a unique link.
  6. Click on the link received, to update your banking details immediately.
  7. Enter the Bank Name, Bank Account Number and the Account Type.
  8. However, if you prefer other payments method, you choose it accordingly
  9. And submit
  10. A confirmation notification in a form of SMS will ve received.
  11. The bank account must be in the name of the applicant.
  12. SASSA will verify the bank account details from the bank.
  13. The verification can take few days to about 10 weeks depending on how fast the bank will respond to SASSA request.
  14. When entering the bank account, make sure to enter the correct account number.
  15. Making a single mistake will lead to long overdue delay
  16. The request for banking details can be done again after 24 hours.
  17. The link that will be received to update is also valid for 30 minutes, if you fail to update within 30 minutes, then you have to wait for another 24 hours.

Remember to Keep your bank account active and balance below R350 as SASSA may decline you for alternative income source Identified.

    I have not been receiving my 350 grant since last year some months are approved with dates but no money some are still approved but with no dates whats going on

    changed my phone number only once but can’t get my R350 at the shops I didn’t pay last month(jan27)feb24) invalid phone number but its my number am very unhappy how long must I wait another month 2pay
