For instance if you’re declined for “uif registered” thus decline reason, then choose “no uif registered” as “reconsideration reason”. In another example, if you are declined for “Alternative Income Source Identified” then choose “No alternative income source” as reconsideration.
However if you are declined for “identity verification failed” , then use the module ” Update Full Name and Surname” when you visit the official website of the SRD R350. In this case, you don’t have to use the reconsideration module.
If your reason for the decline was debtor, then you cannot apply for reconsideration unless an effort is made to pay off the debt. What sassa meant by a debtor is that in the previous SRD R350, that applicant received the grants although not qualified for payments usually due to inefficiency of sassa’s system to detect that.
