Payment Of 2023 February SRD R350 Grant To Start Next Week.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people across South Africa have found themselves in a difficult financial situation. To help those in need, the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has implemented a Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant of R350 per month and more especially with regard to the February 2023 SASSA SRD R350. The grant is aimed at providing financial assistance to those who are unemployed, have no other source of income, and are not receiving any other form of government assistance.

Recently, sources close to SASSA have revealed that the payment of the February 2023 SASSA SRD R350 grant will begin next week. This is great news for applicants who have been waiting for their much-needed financial assistance. However, it is important to note that those who have not yet submitted their banking details should use this waiting time to do so.

If you are an applicant who has not yet submitted your banking details, it is important to do so as soon as possible. This is especially important if you are using Cash Send (Ewallet) or Post Bank Virtual Card as your preferred payment method. SASSA has made it clear that it will not be issuing any vouchers or cash payments, and that all payments will be made through the banking system.

If you are using Cash Send (Ewallet) or Post Bank Virtual Card, and you are approved in the previous months but without pay dates, then you need to submit your banking details and get verified.

  2. I have not recieved my January R350 payment. I am not employed. The money that came through ewallet was sent by my sister for my mom. This is so unfair. So by that I get judged. As u see my bank statements there are no monies coming through every month as a salary. This has happened on numerous occasions where money is been sent for my mom using my e wallet. I dont think i should be penalised for that. Regards

  4. I know some who has been waiting since 2021 approved reconsiderations months without paydates. bank details has been verified but still waiting.. some months in 2022/2023 has been approved with dates yes thanks for that. I’m wondering since sassa verifies each and every person each and every month how is it possible that they do not notice that there a few approved months without paydates? or are those months just being ignored.. because I think whereas they can just give the paydates same time when a month get approved. then a person won’t have to wait so long I mean waiting is not a problem but wait for 2 years joh no I don’t know… and we all are fully aware of them. dealing with backlog and /or loadshedding.. and the millions of applications sassa have to deal with.. but joh no. waiting 2 years just for paydates?? now they say people must upload again their bank details I mean really sassa do have bank details the put money in for 2022/2023……
